I’ve taught here at Valencia College since the early 1990’s and I truly enjoy this job! For over 30 years (until 2024) I had another “day job” as an electronic engineer at a company that designs and manufactures audio, video, show control, and lighting equipment for the themed entertainment industry. (If you’ve ever been to Disney, Universal, or Sea World you’ve probably heard or seen some of the equipment that our company has designed.) During class, I will often share the day-to-day experiences I've had at my engineering job with you as topics come up and match whatever I might have done at work. If you currently have a job in a technical field I encourage you to share your experiences with the class as well.
