Dr. Joseph D'Ambrosi

Dr. D'Ambrosi teaches New Student Experience for Valencia's West Campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Theatre History, Theory, and Literature from Indiana University and a Master's Degree in Theatre Studies from the University of Central Florida. A theatre scholar, artist, and teacher, Dr. D'Ambrosi has worked in the theatre as an actor, director, and dramaturg. His research explores the relationship between theatre and evangelical Christianity throughout United States history. His scholarship is published in edited collections and peer-reviewed journals, including Ecumenica: Journal of Theatre and Performance, The Harold Pinter Review, and Theatre History Studies. Dr. D'Ambrosi is from Long Island, NY, but lives in Orlando with his cat, Horatio.
