Dr. Jennifer Keefe

Associate Professor of Humanities, Lake Nona Campus and Peace and Justice Institute Campus Coordinator, Lake Nona Campus

I am a Professor of Humanities at the Lake Nona Campus. I started teaching at the Lake Nona Campus in 2011 and taught at the Winter Park Campus from 2008-2011. I have also been the Lake Nona Campus activities coordinator for the Peace and Justice Institute since 2011.

I also served as Project Director for a Tile V grant at the Osceola Campus from 2016 to 2020. The grant specialized in expanding our career and technical programs here at Valencia.

I hold a Doctorate in Higher Education Policy Studies from UCF, a Master of Liberal Studies from Rollins College in Winter Park, and a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Florida. I worked in both the radio and television industries for more than 14 years before becoming a professor at Valencia in 2008. I also taught English at Lake Howell High School in Seminole County.
