This FALL 2024 online course will consist of becoming familiar with short stories, poetry, and classic plays. You will have the opportunity to explore the elements of fiction (like plot, characterization, setting, etc) as well as the nuances of poetry, and the satisfaction of analyzing literature. You will be expected to write a small discussion on a selected poem and a research paper based on an assigned novel of your choice. Know that even though this is an online class, you can always communicate with me at kjorgensen@valenciacollege.edu.
