Mr. Marcien Dentey
My birthplace is in a town called Badou, in Togo, West Africa. I grew up in a town called Kpando, in Ghana - a neighboring country to Togo - where I attended Bishop Herman Secondary School before coming to the United States. In the US, I attended N.C A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina, and obtained a bachelor of science degree in Engineering Physics. I worked for a while and then went back to graduate school at Alabama A&M University and obtained a masters degree in Applied Physics - Material Science. After graduate school, I took a job with Schlumberger - Anadrill and worked on offshore oil rigs as MWD/LWD engineer. Not very comfortable with offshore life, we moved to Orlando, Fl in 2002 after my wife completed her graduate studies and was offered employment with Boyle Engineering. I have been an adjunct professor at Valencia since 2003.
