Prof. Michael Norato
I began my teaching career in 1998 and have taught at the secondary level (grades 7-12) until 2009. I have experience teaching Physics, Chemistry, Earth/Space Science, Life & General Science, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Developmental Math 0018, 0028, 0022, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, College Mathematics, and Statistics
I obtained a B.S. in Meteorology from Saint Louis University, MAED Administration/Educational Leadership, and a Graduate Certificate in Mathematics from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 2018.
I began my career in education with Valencia College in 2009 as a math tutor for the Specialized Preparatory Area/Math Support Center. A short time after, I was a lab Instructor for the developmental math courses and was promoted to a Math adjunct professor in 2012.In 2018, I was hired as a Professor of Mathematics and Extension Specialist. My mission is to give back to the community by helping as many students as possible one class at a time.
