Year you joined Valencia: 2004, and became a tenured faculty member at Valencia College in 2010.

Experience prior to Valencia: Graduate from Valencia Community College in 1979. Practice Dental Hygiene for 29 years. I started my second career in education at Central Florida Community College, Ocala, Florida as an instructor in a dental assisting program from 1995- 2003.

A personal note: Shortly after graduation at Valencia Community College I married my husband of 45 years. We have raised 3 children, and am enjoying our grandchildren. We are also the proud parents of 1 dog. My free time is spent at the beach, reading great books and sewing.
