Dr. Shannon Zinck
I received my BA in English from Duke University, where I graduated with Honors in 1997. I went on to receive my MA in English from the University of Virginia in 1999, concentrating on 20th century British literature, with special attention to Irish colonial and postcolonial scholarship. After spending 5 years working as an Administrative Assistant in the Finance Department at Verizon, I returned to school and completed my dissertation on the representation of domestic space in the fiction of Anglo-Irish writer Elizabeth Bowen in the spring of 2015 at the University of South Florida. I am currently the official Bibliographer for The Mailer Review and an English Instructor at South Florida State College.
