Yolanda Wells

My name is Yolanda Wells, and I am the Program Director for the Respiratory Care Program. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Cardiopulmonary Science from Florida A&M University and a master’s in Healthcare Administration & Adult Education from the University of Phoenix.

I have over 20 years of adult, pediatrics and neonatal critical care training from Grady Memorial hospital, Florida Hospital Advent Orlando, and BayCare Winter Haven Hospital. I spent 9 years as an educator and Program Director at Concorde College in Tampa Florida. In addition, last 2 years I was the Polk Regional Respiratory Education Specialist while serving as the COPD educator for BayCare Winter Haven Hospital.

I am a member of the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), Florida Society for Respiratory Care (FSRC), and American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).

In 2021, I accepted the position as the Program Chair. My goal at Valencia is to provide a quality education and guide you through this term.
