RTE 3765-Anatomy for the Medical Imager
A detailed study of gross anatomical structures will be systematically conducted for location, relationship to other structures and function. Identification of anatomical structures in axial (transverse), sagittal, coronal and orthogonal (oblique) planes will be achieved using illustrations and anatomy images comparing Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Ultrasound images, when applicable.
HSA4184 - Leadership in Healthcare
This course involves the study of theories, principles and skills needed to function in a leadership position. Emphasis is placed on the development of competencies applicable to not only your professional practice, but also your role as a member of the community.
HSC 4640-Introduction to Health Law
This course serves as an introduction to how legal doctrines and precedents apply to clinical practice of healthcare professionals, and will explore how health care, medical ethics and the law intersect. Students will explore the importance of professional practice standards and why careful adherence to them ensures optimal patient safety, thereby minimizing the risk of negligence or malpractice liability.
