Extra credit is given per hour spent in the tutoring center. Just bring me a piece of paper with the time you spent and the signature of the tutor, and the work you did. How much? Enough so that it's worth your time. The exact amount will be determined by me at the end of the semester.

How to Behave: Please put your cell phone on silent before class, don’t bring food inside class, and don’t talk during class. Thank You.

Attendance: If you miss more than 3 classes, you may be dropped from the roll and then would receive a grade of W.

Tutoring: Tutoring is available in building 4 on the bottom floor in the SPA, which is specifically designed to help Pre-Algebra students. Go there!

Academic Honesty: You are expected to do your own work on exams. Providing information to another student or receiving information concerning exam content is considered cheating. Each student is expected to be in complete compliance with the college policy on academic honesty as set forth in the admissions catalog and the student handbook. The professor reserves the right to determine the appropriate penalties within Valencia Community College’s academic honesty policies.

Students with Disabilities: Students with disabilities who qualify for academic accommodations must provide a notification from the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) and discuss specific needs with the instructor, preferably during the first two weeks of class. The Office for Students with Disabilities determines accommodations based on appropriate documentation of disabilities. The East Campus Office is located in Building 5, Room 216.

Disclaimer: Changes in the evaluation procedure may be made at the discretion of the instructor.
