Grading: Homework is given periodically. There will be 4 tests plus a final exam. The homework is not graded. Each test will count as 20% of your grade. The final exam is 20%. No extra credit. No dropped tests.

 

How to Behave: Please put your cell phone on silent before class, don’t bring food inside class (drinks okay), and don’t talk during class. Thank You.

 

Attendance: If you miss more than 3 classes, you may be dropped from the roll and then would receive a grade of W. If this happens after the withdraw deadline (check the calendar) you'll get an F.

 

Tutoring: Tutoring is available for free in building 7 on the top floor. You may also come to my office hours which are on the website.

Academic Honesty: You are expected to do your own work on exams. Providing information to another student or receiving information concerning exam content is considered cheating. Each student is expected to be in complete compliance with the college policy on academic honesty as set forth in the admissions catalog and the student handbook. The professor reserves the right to determine the appropriate penalties within Valencia Community College’s academic honesty policies.
