Dr. Masood Ejaz

Program Chair & Professor, Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology

Dr. Ejaz received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from N.E.D. University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan, and M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Florida State University. He joined Valencia College in the Spring 2009 semester as an adjunct and became a full-time faculty member of the Department of Electronics Engineering Technology in the Fall 2009 semester. In the Spring of 2011, he became the first faculty member of the new baccalaureate program at Valencia, Bachelor of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (BSECET). Currently, he is the program chair of the BSECET program.

Since joining Valencia College, Dr. Ejaz has taught several courses for both the Electronics Technology A.S. program and BSECET program. He has also developed curricula, written and designed labs, and written course text for several upper level courses for the BSECET programs.

Dr. Ejaz is interested in several Electrical and Computer Engineering fields including (but not limited to) Neural Networks and Machine Intelligence, Digital Signal processing, Electrical and Electronic circuits, Digital Systems, and Communication Systems. He enjoys programming and use of technical software and tries to incorporate them in majority of his classes.
