Course Materials for Rivera
Library Tutorials on YouTube
Students: Below is a YouTube playlist of videos demonstrating how to use electronic resources we discussed in class.
LibGuides
Students: All LibGuides I used in class can be accessed from my main LibGuides page. Contact me if you have additional questions. Faculty: If you would like your LibGuide added to your Blackboard course and want single sign-on authentication enabled (so students are not prompted for a login), let me know.
Virtual Library Instruction Session Recordings
Students: If you attended a virtual library instruction this semester and need to watch the recording, you can find it here.
Plagiarism/APA Tutorials
These are a series of five tutorials that instruct students on how to avoid plagiarism and how to construct proper APA in-text citations and Reference pages. All tutorials have assessments that test student knowledge. Each tutorial can be used on its own or in its entirety.
Faculty: Single Sign-On for Blackboard
You can now enable single sign-on through BlackBoard. Please watch the following quick tutorials to see how to do this.
Skillshop Presentation: Privacy on the Web
Discover how to protect your online reputation and keep your private life private while enhancing your public image with potential employers, college and military recruiters, and professional contacts. Methods to protect yourself will be discussed such as data encryption tools, Google Voice, opting out of people search engines, and advanced Facebook privacy options.
For Teaching Librarians: LI Teaching Tools
A smattering of fun, free (or very cheap) educational technology tools to make teaching more engaging!
