Welcome to my FrontDoor Faculty Web Page.

Here you will find the listings for my online courses and a short presentation on how to get started in each of them. I have also included the course syllabi and information about getting the correct textbooks. See the next announcement for current course listings.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL OF THE COURSES LISTED HERE ARE TOTALLY ONLINE; YOU MUST HAVE OR HAVE ACCESS TO A FULLY FUNCTIONAL COMPUTER FOR THESE COURSES. Since these are ONLINE courses, there are no meetings on campus.

If you are new to online courses and Blackboard, I highly recommend that you check out (copy and paste) the following link:
First, go to:http://valenciacollege.edu/oit/lts/StudentResources/gettingStarted/  
to get an orientation and valuable information about skills and technologies needed for online courses and for a good orientation to Blackboard, the learning management system used for these courses. Be sure to Self-Register for Valencia Online 101 Student Orientation.

Lastly, click on Syllabi and then Course Materials to see the Getting Started and Introductory Flash Presentations. You will need Adobe shockwave flash player, and there is a link to download it free on the Course Materials page. Be sure to right click on the flash presentations to open them in a separate browser window.

PLEASE NOTE: Firefox is the recommended browser for courses in Blackboard. Google Chrome is also acceptable. If you currently use Internet Explorer (comes with most computers); download and install Firefox before coming to the course.
