Ana Tenorio Sandoval
Advanced Manufacturing and Automation Technology
I began my career at Valencia College in 2017 as a part-time mathematics instructor, and in 2022 transitioned to the newly established Engineering Technology Program at the Osceola Campus.
With a background in academic research and industry partnership, I have focused on the improvement of manufacturing processes. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Jesuit University ITESO, and my Master's degree from the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. My passion for using education as a tool to improve lives is evident in my approach to teaching, as I consistently impart a positive growth mindset to my students, encouraging them to see setbacks as an opportunity for growth and development. By doing so, I hope to empower my students to become lifelong learners who can go on to make positive contributions in their own communities.
When I am not making contributions to the field of engineering, I can be found reading, playing with my foster kittens, or spending time with my family, often visiting playgrounds with my toddler.
