Mrs. Barbara Pierre

I am the Program Chair for the inaugural Health Navigation Program. I am also the Professor for Introduction to Public Health and Health Communication. I was a Chemistry teacher for the past 10 years for Orange County Public Schools. I have a Bachelors and Masters from the University of Florida. My background is in Public Health and Nutrition.

I am married and have two kids. My husband is a medical doctor. He practices in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Our goal is to open a Cancer Research Clinic in Haiti.
