Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture: University of Belgrade, Serbia
Master’s degree in Liberal Studies: Rollins College, Orlando, Florida.
Djordje Jovanovic has been teaching Humanities at Valencia College since 2012, including online classes since 2016. Other than teaching introductory course, his focus is in Renaissance and Baroque Humanities.
With an interest in interdisciplinary approach to historical studies in art, architecture, philosophy, literature and music, as well as ethics, logic and psychology, his major goal as a professor is to pass on to his students the core values of Western civilization and Classicism and teach them to use critical and open-minded approaches in their life and work.
In addition to his academic career, he has been engaged in creative work in the fields of art, design, music and photography.
