Dr. Erin O'Brien

My educational background includes undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees from the University of Central Florida in the fields of English, Technical Writing, and Education. I also have recently completed a master's degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University.

My research interests include best practices in college teaching and learning, quality online course design, facilitation, and learning practices. I love working with college students and faculty members, so this is truly my dream job.

I have taught college English at UCF, Valencia, Rollins College, and Northern Virginia Community College. I've also worked as a freelance textbook editor and reviewer.

I'm a former Valencia graduate and I have taught on the Osceola, East, West, Lake Nona, and Winter Park campuses of Valencia College. I currently teach at our Poinciana campus and online.
