Dr. Gerri Roberts
Biography
Gerri Roberts is a Full-Time Professor with Valencia College on the West Campus. Gerri started with Valencia in January of 2017. She teaches in the Network Engineering Department and occasionally teaches for the Computer Programming and Analysis Department.
She teaches many different classes, including Windows Server, Computer Hardware, and Identity Security (to name a few). She has a background in a myriad of subjects including Servers (Microsoft and Linux), Software Engineering, Project Management, Information Security, Computer Hardware, and more.
She has a Bachelors in Software Engineering, a Masters in Information Systems Management, a Masters in Network Communication Management and a PhD in Information Assurance and Security
She is industry certified with the following certifications:
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- Comptia Security+
- CompTIA Network Infrastructure Professional
- CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist
- Microsoft MCP/MCTS
- Microsoft MCTS in Desktop Applications
- Microsoft MCTS in Web Applications
- Palo Alto Certified Cyber Security Analyst (PCCSA)
- Palo Alto Certified Cybersecurity Entry Level Technician (PCCET)
...and is currently working on the CompTIA Pentest+ certification.
