Mrs. Kathleen Collier
Part Time Mathematics Professor
I am a graduate of Valencia College and UCF. I began my teaching career in a private school teaching fifth grade and then middle grades sixth through eighth, even though my BS was in Secondary Mathematics Education. After four years, I found a job at St. Cloud High School, and then transferred to Osceola County School for the Arts (OCSA). Eventually I earned my M.Ed in Mathematics Education, which qualified me to teach at Valencia College. Originally my intent was to introduce Dual Enrollment Mathematics classes at OCSA, so I began teaching at Valencia, Osceola Campus, so that I would be able to offer classes at OCSA. I am in my third year teaching at night at Valencia College, and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
