Mrs. Merlyn LoboBrito

I have been an adjunct professor at Valencia College since 2002 and have taught EAP (English for Academic Purposes), Reading, and Writing. I enjoy teaching at Valencia College and appreciate all that this institution stands for. I moved to the US in 2000 with a Master's Degree in English Literature and a Bachelor's degree in Education. I taught in the Public School system for ten years at the Middle School & High School levels and earned my National Board Professional Educator's Certification. I received two awards from the state of Florida for achieving the highest reading gains. I am an avid reader, a keen traveler, and a compassionate human being who wants to leave the world a little better than how I found it.
