Dr. Paul Labedz, Ph.D.

Professor of Political Science

Dr. Labedz teaches courses on American Govenment and International Politics. His areas of special interest include: International Relations Theory, Political Psychology, American Foreign Policy, U.S.-Latin American Relations, and Diplomatic History. He is the academic coordinator for Political Science within the Department of Social Sciences and Physical Education on Valencia's East Campus and serves as one of the college-wide internship supervisors for Political Science. Prior to coming to Valencia Community College in 1999, Dr. Labedz worked as a University Teaching Fellow at the George Washington Univerity, where he earned his doctorate in Political Science. His published work has appeared in both the International Society of Political Psychology News and the Selected Annual Proceedings of the Florida Conference of Historians.
A native of Buffalo, New York, he enjoys playing tennis, golf, and basketball.
