Shameika Daye


Hello, my name is Professor Daye.

I have been teaching for over ten years in leadership and strategies for success courses in addition to sociology. Our learning-centered approach is collaborative in my class and includes contributions from myself, each of you as students, and the social world around us. I'm looking forward to working with you this semester!

Some fun facts about me are that I enjoy indoor spinning and am currently learning calligraphy since I am still a person who gives handwritten notes. I am a student pursuing her Ph.D. in Sociology at the University of Central Florida. I love the color purple ( probably a bit too much). I do my best thinking with endless cups of tea, and I have a unique laugh. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy teaching.
