Chef Jennifer M. Denlinger PhD., CCC, CHEP
Chef Jennifer Denlinger has been a culinary educator for over ten years. She has a BS from University of Central Florida in Hospitality Management, a M.Ed. from American Intercontinental University in Curriculum Design and a CCC and CHE. Her culinary education was gained through an intensive apprenticeship program here at Disney. Her lifelong goal includes combining her educational and culinary experiences together to create a positive learning environment for students and staff members at Culinary School. Being a Chef Instructor she has always enjoyed learning about the Anthropology of Food.
Her dissertation for her PhD in Educational Leadership though Trident University International, on her research of how Brain Dominance effects the Learning style of Culinary and Pastry Students.
Her current research is centered on the History and Cultural Anthropology of Food in Florida, from the first settlers to present. It covers the both the cultural and
economic significance of Florida Food, as well as the significance Florida Agriculture has on the economy. She focuses on the seasonality and freshness of foods. Her website is www.FloridaChef.net
In 2020, she won the title of Southeast Educator of the Year from the American Culinary Federation.
